Peter is an economic and financial consultant based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Peter's specialities are economics, corporate finance and project evaluation as well as aeronautical pricing strategy. He has undertaken and lead numerous projects involving financial and project evaluation of airside and landside airport projects, airport business and enterprise valuations and investment business cases for airports in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Pacific, and Middle East. Peter is an advisor to a number of airports on valuation and airline pricing strategies, including assisting with pricing negotiations with airlines.

Peter is acknowledged as a leading expert in the development and provision of airport-specific financial models, which are used to assess the financial impacts of proposed major capital works, asset revaluations and changes in pricing strategy. Peter also has considerable experience in modelling commercial agreements and providing assistance to the owners and managers of airport assets during commercial negotiations. Peter also undertakes aeronautical pricing benchmarking studies in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.

After graduating with a Master of Commerce, majoring in economics and econometrics, Peter worked for the Financial Markets Department of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as one of the Bank's money market dealers. In 1990, Peter was appointed a Lecturer in Corporate Finance and Investment Management at Lincoln University. During his five years with Lincoln, he taught papers at graduate and under-graduate level in corporate finance, derivatives and investment management. 
During his time as a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young, Peter worked on a broad range of assignments including the valuation of a wide range of businesses and specialised assets. In 1996, Peter and a colleague set up the independent financial advisory firm Crighton Seed, now known as Crighton Anderson following Peter's sale of his interest in the firm in 2001. Since 2001 Peter has been a freelance consultant specialising in the provision of financial advisory services to major New Zealand clients as well as clients in Australia, Asia, the Middle East and, the Pacific, specialising in aviation but also working with ports, rail and electricity.
